🛒🐯 NEW HAVEN FAMILY MATH NIGHT… AT PUBLIX! ➕➗🍎
Join us for a fun, hands-on Grocery Store Family Math Night where the grocery store becomes the classroom!
📅 Thursday, October 15, 2026
⏰ 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Publix – 430 Richwood Rd., Walton, KY 41094
Families will meet us directly at Publix! When you arrive, your family will receive a set of math challenges designed specifically for your child’s grade level. Then, you’ll walk through the grocery store together using real products, prices, quantities, and more to solve the challenges. **NO TOUCHING OR PUCHASE NECESSARY**
📚 Each activity will be connected to Kentucky Academic Standards for Mathematics for your child’s grade level, giving students a chance to see how the math they learn at school is used in everyday life!
There’s no sitting through a presentation—you and your child will shop, explore, problem-solve, and do math together throughout Publix! 🛒🧮

Sometimes a picture captures a moment better than words ever could! 🥹
Last week, New Haven held our House Sorting Day, welcoming our kindergarteners and new students into their New Haven Houses. When this kindergartener discovered she had been sorted into her sister's very own House, her reaction said it ALL! 💜🙌
And right beside her, her sister, one of our 5th grade House Leaders was just as excited to celebrate this special moment with her!
THIS is why we have Houses. It’s so much more than a color or a team. It’s about family, community, friendship, encouragement, leadership, support, belonging, and building relationships that reach across grade levels.
Our older Tigers get the opportunity to lead, encourage, and cheer on our younger Tigers, while our youngest students immediately become part of something bigger than themselves. These are the connections that strengthen our school community and make New Haven such a special place to grow and learn. 🐯
And every once in a while, House Sorting creates a moment like this—when your House family and your real family become one. 💜
Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger! 🐯❤️

A recent change in state law means new rules for when drivers must stop for school buses.
Passed during the 2026 legislative session, House Bill 7 requires all drivers on highways with four or more lanes to stop for a bus with its stop arm extended and lights flashing unless that road is divided by an elevated barrier or unpaved median. Stops are required on all lanes for four-lane highways that include a painted median, paved median or center turn lane.
Drivers in both directions still need to stop on two-lane roads when a school bus is stopped to pick up or drop off students.

- School begins @ 8:40am
- Doors open @ 8:10am
- Make sure your child knows how they are getting home!
- Check out the Bus Route Locator under the "Parents' tab on our school website to find your child's bus number.
