Tomorrow classrooms will be celebrating together and there have been some follow-up questions that are good to share with all. We do allow students to dress up but ask that students do not wear anything scary (we have students 5-11 ages), or gory. No weapons or large accessories please. Students MUST be able to move around as normal in their costumes AND must be able to use the restroom independently. Costumes must be school-appropriate. We want this to be a fun memorable time for all students while still maintaining some structure through the day.

Hey Tigers! Tomorrow, we start our Friends of Ford week, as today would have been his 8th Birthday. As many of you know we lost a sweet soul last year and to honor him, we are having a week of fun and remembrance by doing many of his favorite things. We are also having a Penny War where all the funds will go towards Alex's Lemonade stand. Please see the attached flier and link to learn a little more about Ford, the fun activities for the week, and details on the Penny War! We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow in their favorite team gear! Monday- Wear your favorite team gear, as Ford was always an amazing teammate! Tuesday- Ford was an old soul, and we want to represent him by dressing in clothing from your favorite decade. Wednesday- Ford was always looking to have fun, show your fun by wearing crazy socks! Thursday- Ford loved to show school spirit, loved New Haven, and red was his favorite color! Dress in your best school spirit wear or wear red to remember Ford.  Friday- Ford was in the house creativity- be creative with your Halloween costumes and be ready for an amazing celebration! Bring your pennies and bills to support your grade level, and bring your silver to "bomb" others! The winning grade will receive a birthday party treat of their own in remembrance of what would have been Ford's 8th Birthday! https://www.alexslemonade.org/memorial/john-crawford-ford-adkins

🐯💚 A HUGE Tiger Thank You to Publix in Richwood! 🛒➕➖✖️➗

What an AMAZING night of learning, laughter, and community at our New Haven Elementary Grocery Store Math Night! 🎉

We were thrilled to welcome 50 families, representing over 140 students and family members, who joined us for an evening of putting math skills to work in the real world! From exploring the grocery aisles to solving math challenges, our Tigers had a blast learning that math is EVERYWHERE! 🧮🛒

💚 A special THANK YOU to Publix in Richwood for opening your doors and welcoming our school family with such kindness and enthusiasm! Your incredible employees went above and beyond, even stopping what they were doing to help our students work through their math problems! Those little moments of encouragement and support made such a BIG difference!

🐯 A HUGE shoutout to our 4 AMAZING volunteers who helped make the evening run smoothly! We couldn't have done it without your time, energy, and willingness to jump in wherever needed!

🎁 Another BIG thank you to our wonderful New Haven PTO for generously donating our grand prize — a $100 Publix gift card! Your continued support helps make experiences like this even more special for our families!

At the New Haven Family Resource Center, we believe some of the best learning happens when our school, families, and community come together. ❤️

We are SO grateful to have such an incredible community partner in Publix! Thank you for helping us turn an ordinary grocery shopping trip into an extraordinary learning experience for our Tigers! 🐯💚

Hello Parents - Just a friendly reminder!

The Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application needs to be completed each school year, even if you filled one out last year and/or transferred from a CEP school (school lunches were free). Completing the application can help with more than just school meals—it may also help your family qualify for reduced fees and other school or community resources and assistance. We encourage all families to take a few minutes to complete it again this year!

Here is the link and QR Code to the online application - https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application

Dear Tiger Families,

We are excited to announce sign-ups for this year’s Tiger Tales Club are now open! We’re excited to continue to grow the program, make it more intentional and give students new opportunities to shine.

✨ Again This Year

We will be accepting the first 20 students per grade level from grades K-3rd.

For grades 4th and 5th, students may apply to be a Tiger Tales Ambassador. We will select 10 Ambassadors.

Being a Tiger Tales Ambassador is a leadership role. Ambassadors will not only participate in the fun but also help guide and learn alongside our younger Tiger Tales members (K–3). Please note: not all students who sign up or apply will be accepted.

Families will be notified of acceptance for both membership and ambassador positions by October 8th.
