The Boone Co. Sheriff’s Auxiliary is hosting a Kid’s Fest on 9/13 and is open to the public. In addition to their activities for the kids, they are having a competition for the “Best SRO”. This competition will be held in the form of a penny war where each SRO will have a bucket where kids can put pennies in their school’s SRO bucket. The SRO with the most pennies at the end of the kids fest will win.
